First on ten: 10. Rung on, and to mark, the twentieth anniversary of the induction of the Reverend Simon Stevenette as vicar of Christ Church with St Mary's. The ringers of 3, 5, & 6 rang the same bells to the peal of Swindon Surprise Royal on 6th October 1998.

After a rather short peal attempt terminated by conductorial inadequacy. Michael Williams remains, but not for long.

Believed to be the 2000th peal rung for the Society, the first peal being Grandsire Caters at Christ Church on January 1st, 1734. For the avoidance of doubt, nobody rang in both peals

In celebration of the life of Tim Harrison, son of Mike and Sylvia and sometime ringer at this church, whose funeral took place here earlier today.

750th peal and 500th for the Society: 1. Half-muffled in memory of the Fallen.

On March 4th Day for the 204th anniversary of the bells. Marking also (belatedly, and to a shorter length than intended) the 150th, 100th and 50th anniversaries of 10,000s of Grandsire Caters rung on these bells.
